Karaoke dates 2026
2026 dates for our popular Karaoke nights - note that July is not the last Saturday. During the summer months food consists of filled rolls & in the colder seasons a selection of curry's are served. Bookings for food are appreciated at least 3 days before the event.

Open Mic Night 3rd Sept
The mic and Mike are waiting for you on Thursday 3rd September as the previous monthly Folk & Music Night morphs into a new Open Mic format at the Club. The night is now under the direction of Mike Dawson. Performers please contact Mike on 9654 2485 to book your slot, and everyone please either put your food choices in the Yellow Events Folder or contact Jo on 99 175 117 to place your orders

Maverick The Greatest Showman. Saturday 5th September
A last minute treat for this Saturday Night 5th September - roll up for some rolls & West End vocals from Maverick - a fast paced show of glitz, glamour & great singing talent.

Phoenix Club Annual Crib 'Play to Lose' Competition
The Phoenix annual 'Play to Lose' crib tournament will start on MONDAY 7TH September. 18th September Friday Film Night featuring 'White Mischief'
Aging Sir John (Joss Ackland) leaves war-torn England for Kenya, with his beautiful young wife, Diana (Greta Scacchi). They join other ex-pat aristocrats in the incongruously named Happy Valley. Cocooned from the war in Europe, the denizens of the valley are completely at the mercy of the boredom generated by their privileged lifestyles,.
Sir John soon begins to realise that he has something more disturbing than German bombs
and falling commodity prices to worry about when Diana starts to show far too much interest in Josslyn Hay, the hedonistic Earl of Erroll (Charles Dance).
White Mischief is a 1987 British period crime drama film directed by Michael Radford, based on the true story of the Happy Valley murder case in Kenya in 1941.
Cost - Absolutely free for members (but don't forget your membership card )
€2 temporary membership allows non-members to join in - not only for the night but gives access to club events and activities for the following week

The Club boasts it's own skittles alley - complete with knee-high skittles.
