Karaoke dates 2026
2026 dates for our popular Karaoke nights - note that July is not the last Saturday. During the summer months food consists of filled rolls & in the colder seasons a selection of curry's are served. Bookings for food are appreciated at least 3 days before the event.
Friday 17 July 2026. Phoenix Film Night - 'Galaxy Quest'.
Join us to enjoy Galaxy Quest - definitely a must if you've enjoyed Star Trek over the years. In the film we find the cast of a fictional cult television series, Galaxy Quest, are drawn into a real interstellar conflict by misguided aliens who think the series is a documentary!
A parody of & homage to, science-fiction films & especially Star Trek & its fans, starring, Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver & Alan Rickman.
Galaxy Quest achieved cult status, especially from Star Trek fans for its affectionate parody of the genre. It was included in Reader's Digest's list of the Top 100+ Funniest Movies of All Time, and Star Trek fans actually voted it the 7th best Star Trek film so far in 2013!
Supporting films - Support films - The Paul McGrath Story + Tommy Shelby’s Rules for his Wedding Day!
Cost - Absolutely free for members (but don't forget your membership card )
€2 temporary membership allows non-members to join in - not only for the night but gives access to club events and activities for the following week
Food - filled rolls & chips. Filling choices - A Corned beef with onion or pickle B Cheese with onion or tomato C Egg Mayo D Tuna Mayo

Our popular Karaoke night -AKA Rolly-oke, IS NOT on the last Saturday of the month as usual it's on July 18th

Friday 24th July - Join us for a Beetle Drive
Join us for a July Beetle Drive. A classic social night of fast paced competition. Will you be the first to complete your beetle/phoenix? The rattle of dice, moans of disappointment and cries of success forms a background sound track for these hugely popular nights. You move round the tables as your luck holds or deserts you and then suddenly you get the numbers you need and you've won! Well perhaps :-)

Open Mic Night Aug 6th 2026
After the success of our last Open Mic session we are continuing again Thursday 6th Aug. This will be an intimate night, since so many of our 'regulars' are away, but that's even more reason to join the summer stalwarts as they get together to perform for you. It's also an excellent moment to join in, if you've got a secret talent yearning to emerge. With fewer participants there's more time for individual setting up and definitely less stress while performing, so why not give it a go?

Doors Open : 6.30pm Performances from 7.45 ish.
