Benefits and Costs of Membership

Members of the Phoenix Social Club enjoy activities and events at low prices. Quizzes and most other game activities are free and only require payment for food and drinks, which are very affordable. The Folk Nights offer a meal and free live entertainment by local performers. Music nights, special celebrations and pantomimes normally are sold with a meal. Non-members pay a surcharge of €2 for an event or activity; this entitles them to temporary club membership for one week. Full members may play in the Club's Bonus Ball lottery for €2 per number, with numbers drawn weekly.

Volunteer workers help to keep the club going. Volunteers are ALWAYS needed! If you enjoy entertaining, you might challenge yourself to help in the kitchen or at the bar occasionally. The Club's Performing Arts Group (PAG) often needs a bit of assistance with costuming or stage props, and aspiring thespians are welcome. The rehearsals are lively and humorous. Performers in plays must be Club members.

The Club's annual membership fee is a modest €42 for a year running from 1 June to 30 May.
